Microwave baking

        Microwave baking for the past 2 years has given me good and bad results marking a black mark on my experience as a person who loves and enjoys baking.
there were time i had a rock hard cake which gave a few good memories in my life, believe me sometimes disasters in baking bring laughter to your life. all you need for that particular funny moment is over baking anything on your microwave or grilling a cake batter for 20 Min's which really can be perfect in only 5 minutes.

Although I was given a good microwave cooking lesson by my cookery teacher back in the year 2009 I failed to practice the reason was we never owned a microwave back then.
soon after marriage and moving to Dubai I was given a microwave which was the only way to cook any meal until we bought a hot plate.

The above cake was actually done following the easy chocolate cake recipe on allrecipes.com but the baking was done in my microwave.
they were so soft and delicious that I got a few good compliments.
this drooling was covered with chocolate ganache icing which was also done following a recipe on the same site and sprinkled with a few chocolate shavings.
lasted for 3 days amidst my diabetic problem I couldn't resist but eat around 3 or more a day.
the original recipe yields 24 cakes and the measurement was obsolete that I ended up with 24 cup cakes.
